New Clients

The law protects the relationship between a client and a psychotherapist, and information cannot be disclosed to others without written permission.

Exceptions include:

• Suspected child abuse or dependent adult or elder abuse, for which I am required by law to report this to the appropriate authorities immediately.

​

• If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person/s, I must notify the police and inform the intended victim.

​

• If a client intends to harm himself or herself, I will make every effort to enlist their cooperation in ensuring their safety. If they do not cooperate, I will take further measures without their permission that are provided to me by law in order to ensure their safety.

My services are self pay, which means that I am not "in network" with any insurance companies at this time.  Allowing you to privately pay provides you with more control and flexibility around your therapy experience.

Utilization of insurance requires a diagnosis.  Receiving a mental health diagnosis can potentially have negative consequences financially, personally, and professionally.  You can read more by visiting the FAQ page. 

 

We do accept major credit cards, HSAs and Flexible Spending cards.

The standard counseling session rates are:
$150 for 50 minutes per session
 

Sliding Scale assistance is offered, rates starting at $90/session.
